Annual events

Nicknamed the “Hydrangea Temple of the San’in Region,
” Gesshoji is known for its vibrant blooms of hydrangeas from
mid-June to July during the rainy season.
We also introduce major annual events, such as Mantoue—an enchanting ceremony
where hundreds of lanterns are lit with candles, creating a magical atmosphere.

Permanent memorial service

This is a grave maintained with care and respect by the temple.
It offers peace of mind by ensuring that your loved ones will be watched over for generations to come—
an ideal option for those with family living far away or concerns about future upkeep.
