"Bakeke" Episode 41 (November 24th)

On Monday, November 24th, a scene filmed at Gesshoji Temple was broadcast on the NHK morning drama series "Bakeke."

The setting was the mausoleum of the seventh feudal lord, Lord Fumai, and the mausoleum (with the large turtle statue) of the sixth feudal lord, Lord Soen.

From the tomb of Lord Fumai, you can see the tomb of the first shogun, Lord Naomasa. Also, although it wasn't shown in the broadcast, you can see the Matsue Castle tower from the location where Professor Heaven, Governor Eto, and Nishikori were talking.

When you visit the temple, try to find a good spot to take photos.

Please note that there are stone steps on the way to the mausoleum, so please be careful when walking.
