Gesshoji Temple has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the restoration of the large turtle statue (Juzōhi)

Approximately 250 years have passed since its erection, and the large turtle statue is showing signs of deterioration, such as tilting and cracking of the stone monument, making it in need of fundamental restoration

We would be grateful for your support in passing on this historically significant cultural asset to future generations
