The mausoleum, which houses the memorial tablets of the Matsudaira clan, the feudal lords of Matsue Domain, and their wives, is open to the public only once a year on August 16th.

The mausoleum is one of the most solemn spaces within the grounds of Gesshoji Temple. Please take this opportunity to visit the mausoleum, which is not normally open to the public
