Gesshoji Temple has recently created a new "Health and Longevity Amulet."

The amulet features the large turtle statue, a beloved symbol of Gesshoji Temple, and is inscribed with the words "health and longevity."

The large turtle statue is said to have been erected by Matsudaira Fumai, the seventh lord of the Matsue domain, to pray for the longevity of his father, the sixth lord, Muneaki. Today, it is said that stroking its head will bring long life, and many people visit the statue to pray for good health and longevity

These amulets, too, have been blessed with prayers for good health and longevity, with the hope that everyone will enjoy good health and a long and happy life. Distribution will begin on Saturday, August 29th

Award fee: 1,000 yen
